Performance collides with the runway for the creation of Balenciaga’s Speed trainers. Halfway between basketball and running shoes, this sock-inspired design reflects the architectural lines and futuristic undertones of Demna Gvasalia’s aesthetic at the Spanish house. Sculpted with an ankle-hugging, knitted upper and stamped with the brand’s signature namesake, they’re set on a moulded rubber sole to rep comfort levels while adding height.
